Farm Level
Farm Administrators
- This will be limited to a handful of folks. For example, 2 personnel from Design Team and 2 personnel from Operations.
Farm Viewers
- Likely candidate is Ops Web Team
Service Administrators
We can list out special services of which non Farm Administrators will have administrative access. Examples are:
- User Profile Sync - Directory Admins
- Search - IT Security
- Business Data Connectivity Service - Development Team
- Usage and Health Data Collection - Net Ops Team
Web Application Level
Web Application Administrators
- Ops Web Team: This level gives permissions to all sites in the portal
Site Collection Administrator
- Defined in Enterprise Portal Governance Plan
